1.)How was life different between the colonial regions of New England, Middle, & Southern Colonies? Explain all.
-In New England they were big on going to church. The woman didn?t really go to public areas or business types and the men would fish and hunt. New England was formed by the Pilgrims. In New England slavery was legal. The middle colonies were formed by the Dutch. In the middle colonies they had a lot of farms and open wide areas. The suburbs were so big that it went from the suburbs to the seacoast. The farmers would farm fruits, grains and barley. They would make clocks, hats, and clothing. The southern colonies were formed by Lord Baltimore. They would practice their religion.
2) How was life similar between these regions? Explain.
-They all practiced religion, and they had slavery.
3) Why do you think historians have organized the 13 colonies into these 3 regions (New England, Middle, & Southern)? Explain.
-Well, the historians organized the thirteen colonies into three regions because of their differences and similarities.
4) If you were alive in the 1700s what colony would you most like to live in? Why? Explain.

1)The New England women were not involved in business or public life they worked at their own places, the men from all over New England held every possible position and they fished. The new England colonies were formed by pilgrims. There were not much slaves in New England even though it was legal. The middle colonies were formed by Dutch and Sweetish. In the middle colonies they farmed in big farms that they stretched from the suburbs all the way to the seacoast. Farmers farmed rye, barley, wheat and other grains and fruits, they made guns, watch, hats, locks, clocks and cloth. The southern colonies where formed by Lord Baltimore and it was for so that some Catholics could practice their religion they called their settlement Baltimore like there formed leader.
2)They all had slavery some more than others, they all were from some part of Europe and they all had religions.
3) The colonies all have differences and the way that they organized them was so we could surd of relate better to them.
4) I would pick the colony of present day Pennsylvania because i would be protected by the king of England and I could follow my religion with out persecusion.

In the New England Colonies women didn?t do much but they did a lot of work around the house. And men held just about every position possible. Slavery was still legal but many blacks had their own land and farms. And church was heavily involved. People believed in it so heavily that it had political control. In the Middle Colonies people that lived in farms grew wheat, barley, rye, and other grains and fruits. Manufactures made clocks, watches, guns, locks, and hats. And because they made so much bread they were named the ?Bread Basket Colonies?. The Southern Colonies were nothing but slavery plantations for tobacco and other grains.

They all were looking for trade and religious freedom from the Anglican Church. Some were Protestants and Separatists, also known as Pilgrims.

They were different because they had diferent ways of living in their political and social lives.

I would live in a farm in the New England Colonies and I would work on the farm every day with my workers that I treated very well and nicely. There I would grow and sell crops like corn, wheat, rye, bread, fruits, grains, and vegetables. And every night I would give a feast for my workers and family with roast duck.

They are very similar because they really did the same things and had the same rules but they did their things in different ways and they felt like they were different from the other colonies.
3) Why do you think historians have organized the 13 colonies into these 3 regions (New England, Middle, & Southern)? Explain.
I think that they had organized these these colonies because they believed in different things but they did things the same and some colonies didn?t believe in what the other colonies had believed in.
4) If you were alive in the 1700s what colony would you most like to live in? Why? Explain.
The colony that I would like to live in is Georgia and I would like to live in that colony because what they did was back then was they did many farming, for food. Since back then they had lots of soil. & had many jobs on farming. Not that much but better than that. This is why I would like to live and that colony.

1) How was life different between the colonial regions of New England, Middle, & Southern Colonies? Explain all. New England: Women did not play a major role in business or public life of New England. They did do a lot of the work around the home, though. The men in New England, from high to low, held just about every possible position. Slavery still remained legal, but there was not much use for slaves in New England. Middle: The Dutch and the Swedish were the first to settle in the middle colonies. Farmers and other people lived in very small houses farmers usually about ten to twenty miles out of town. The farms were very big; they stretched from the suburbs all the way to the seacoast. Farmers gathered: wheat, barley, rye, and other grains and fruits. Manufacturing was a very big industry; they made-clocks, watch, guns, locks, cloth, and hats. Southern: The Catholics needed someplace where they could practice their religion safely. Their leader was a man called Lord Baltimore. About 300 Catholics settled a city called St. Mary's. Later on the city's name was changed to honor the founder of the colony to Baltimore. The first place settled was Charleston. These men found that there were already many settlers living in the area.

2) How was similar between these regions? Explain. All the Colonies were very similar because the people who founded the colonies were from Europe and they had very similar traditions. Also they trade a lot of things between the colonies.

3) Why do you think historians have organized the 13 colonies into these 3 regions (New England, Middle, & Southern)? Explain. All the colonies had different governments, different life style and others leaders. So, the historians decided to organized them because it would be very hard to identify which colony was founded, why, when and who was the founder or what country came here to conquest them.

4) If you were alive in the 1700s what colony would you most like to live in? Why? Explain. I would like to live in the colony of Virginia because I think it was a good colony for the trade of many things to live and the Company of Virginia played a very good roll in the New Colonies. It was an interesting and important company in the colonies.

Southern Colonies: Georgia was the last colony to be organized of the original 13 colonies. James Oglethorpe was given land by the king of England. The king wanted a place where he could send people he did not want or like. So, Georgia became that colony. Georgia's job was to protect the other colonies from the French and Spanish. Many people were brought to Georgia who had been in jail or owed money they could not pay. Savannah was the first settlement. The name Georgia came from the name of King George of England

1. The difference between the colonial regions of New England, middle, &southern colonies is that the New England colony was rockier and colder than the other colonies and soil was too rocky for plantation. The middle colonies could have plantation and make money. The southern colonies had many slaves.
2. The regions were similar because they all wanted something like religious freedom and trade and slavery was involved.
3. In my opinion they organized the 13 colonies into these 3 colonies to show which part was owned by what place and to show if they were in the middle or in the south.
4.If I were to be alive in the 1700s the colony I would most like to live in would be the new England colonies because everyone got to own land and it was very involved in the church but later it would not be that important.
